These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ResReader, an AI-powered resume analysis platform. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using ResReader, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal authority to enter into this agreement, and agree to comply with these Terms. If you are using ResReader on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

ResReader provides the following services:

• AI-powered resume analysis and scoring against job requirements

• Intelligent candidate matching and ranking

• Resume parsing and data extraction

• Job description management and candidate tracking

• Email communication tools for candidate outreach

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscription and Payment

ResReader offers various subscription plans:

• Free Plan: Limited features with 10 scans per month

• Paid Plans: Enhanced features with higher scan limits

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date

• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers

• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content without permission

• Use the service to discriminate against candidates based on protected characteristics

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of ResReader (including software, text, graphics, logos, and algorithms) are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of data you upload (resumes, job descriptions) but grant us a license to process this data to provide our services. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of our service.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of ResReader is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using our service, you consent to data processing as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate consent to upload candidate data to our platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

ResReader is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ResReader and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately, and we may delete your data after a reasonable retention period.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the service. Your continued use of ResReader after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the service.
